You will notice that my artistic skill for the other pieces in this mod leave much to be desired, so if anyone at all is willing to aid me with the production of something a little better looking, do let me know. Some of the graphics for the mod have been produced by K, who created the WindFarm graphic, and Eisbaer, who created the WindTurbine graphic. 2 turbines and 4 panels can usually keep a whole base running. I always pair my turbines with solar panels in their range because it doesn’t effect either of them.

RIMWORLD WIND TURBINE FULL
Geothermal must be placed on geysers but works at full strength 24/7 unless a solar flare hits. You can also plant stuff there instead (not trees), but I don't find the idea appealing because it's kind of a very small area and usually without rich soil. Solar panels don't disrupt the wind flow and you are able to minmax the energy outpot easily. Both need batteries to ensure 24/7 power demands met. To generate more energy I plop down solar panels inside the wind turbine's area. Solar makes a bit less but you can place them infront of and behind wind turbines. It also produces a slight amount of heat and light while running as secondary effect and thus. Holds up to 75 wood max, and consumes it at a rate 22 per day for a constant supply of 1,000W for roughly 3 days and 9 hours before running out.
